How To: Apply to Medical Schools in the United States

Join POWER Project and Baku American Center for our next seminar to learn more about US medical school applications! We will cover the initial research for schools, funding, the application process, as well as the  campus experience. Our speakers are two medical students from the United States, Ms Meghan O’Leary-Kelly (Georgetown University, Washington DC) joined by our POWER Project team member, Ms Alangoya Tezel (University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan). Ms O'Leary-Kelly attended the University of Michigan for undergraduate work in which she studied pre-medicine and international studies. She took four years off in between undergraduate and medical school in which she lived in Denver, Colorado and worked as a clinical research coordinator at the University of Colorado Cancer Center. She now attends Georgetown University School of Medicine and is currently a third year medical student.
